Hi, this is my first thread on DIYDRONES. I have been flying drones for a bit over a year now, and bought a pixhawk a month ago. I converted my f550 clone (storm 6 drone) from the Naza to the pixhawk, and everything has been working quite well.
Except for the Tarot gimbal. I followed the steps outlined in the wiki: http://copter.ardupilot.com/wiki/common-optional-hardware/common-cameras-and-gimbals/common-tarot-gimbal/
and it worked fine. But then when I restart the pixhawk and disconnect from Mission Planner, it does not work. So I repeat all the steps, and still nothing. I unplugged the gimbal and Scoped the servo output from aux 1. There was nothing. I go into the software, redo all of the settings. Still nothing
Eventually, I decided to try a different pin, so I switched to RC # 8. It then worked. Until I unplugged pixhawk from the computer and rebooted it. It now does not work on RC 8 anymore either.
Are my settings not getting saved to ROM? am I missing something?
Edit: It works again.
