I have just upgraded my Iris Tarot Gimbal to v1.5 while changing the motor power settings to get rid of Jello.
Now my Gimbal just levels itself and then looks downward and will not respond to the controller tilt anymore. I'm assuming this is something to do with the update. I have tried it wired like in this video http://youtu.be/aHkfuRddrOY look at 1:30
which is the way it was, and also the other way http://copter.ardupilot.com/wiki/common-tarot-gimbal/
But i have no tilt control. is this something to do with controller type in the software?
the Gimbal will stay orientated when I move the iris round.
Any help much appreciated

thanks for getting back to me, But I have done all that, still no joy
Try the following:
- Check your wiring (http://3drobotics.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/Tarot-gimbal-kit-I...)
- Make sure to upgrade the firmware for both the gimbal controller and motor controller (http://copter.ardupilot.com/wiki/common-tarot-gimbal/#Updating_the_...)
- Load the default settings for the gimbal controller (https://raw.github.com/diydrones/ardupilot/master/Tools/Frame_param...)
Remember to click on "Write settings to flash".
- Change the value for Tilting motor -> Power to the value 25 in the motor controller setup. Leave everything else as is. Remember to click on "Write settings to flash".
- Power on the receiver and turn the dial (channel 6) all the way clockwise to tilt the camera all the way up. (Instructions are wrong for that).
