I have the APM 2.5 board in a quad, and can communicate via USB. 

Mission Planner works properly

I bought the 433 mHz kit under advice,  and both boards appear identical.

The board plugged into the APM is green, with the red blinking light.

The board plugged into the laptop via the provided USB cable is solid green.

I tried all the different baud settings but nothing connects....

What am I missing? Any suggestions on setup are greatly appreciated.
