Ok...this is probably a stupid question.
But is it detremental to test radios that are programmed to their maximum power output (20dB)...sitting side by side.
Just curious...

No. But you can saturate the receiving circuitry to the point that you don't get usable data. I sometimes plug one radio into each side of my laptop for testing (spacing = ~1ft.). I've never had this problem, but it has been reported.
Easy fix if you get this though, just move them apart a bit.
