I couldn't find a cheap canopy to suit my needs and after having dinner one night I was throwing away the used plastic tray that frozen lasagna comes in when I realized that it might have another use. They are sturdy black plastic that is easy to cut and attach in various ways. I decided to give it a try as a cheap alternative to regular canopies and so the lasagna copter was born! It is surprisingly durable and the ridges help hold the back piece in perfectly. I just used some small velcro cable wraps to secure it so it is quick and easy to remove too.
