Hello everybody,It is finally the time to build the Quadcopter for meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeFirst, I draw the diagram on SolidWorks, and now I'm selecting the parts.The approximate gross weight of my quad will be around 5 kg with HD cam.I will select four Emax BL2826 (40 2-stroke) High Torque Brushless Outrunner, with thier ESC and propellers. nothing specific. I will jump to the Hobby shop and see what fits!I also think it must have four batteries, one for each motor.I also will be any 6-CH Futaba receiver, to match with my transmitter.I will build the board from scratch!for sensors I will use MTi-OEM from http://www.xsens.com/en/general/mtiwhat else.... ?Please if I am doing anything wrong, I would like to hear your suggestions.If there are any helpful suggestions I would be glad to hear it too.
To lose some weight of my quad, I think I am gonna buy "gopro camcorder"
I looked up the official website, and decided to go with "HD HERO Naked" because of good price, lightweight, and clear videos.
We are going to use 4 batteries, each one 4S 2400mAh. Is that enough ?
If not, I will buy 4 batteries 4S 5000-10000mAh like you advised.
About the props, I am going to buy 13x8, you think they're enough?
The design of my quad is attached. would you mind take a look.
The 5 KGs is a lot. you are right. there are two reasons.
a- I am using aluminum not Fiber, cuz I have no experience in it.
b- I am planing of using professional camera Full HD with full axis control , which will add high weight on the quad.
c- later, I am thinking of installing a parachute restoring system with trigger, so in case of engine failure I won't lose my beloved quad :)
