Third party Y6 legs (or DIY legs)

I have recently broken 2 legs on my 2013 Y6 (a fixed wing reaction to a rotary wing glitch!). I see from the 3DR site I have to buy a multi part kit of things I don't want to get the legs. Has anyone made up their own? Looks like circuit board without the copper might work? Any ideas please!

You could buy the quad kit for $50 and get 4 of them, along with all the other gear.
I'm sure there is a clever hardware store solution I haven't thought of yet.

  The quad legs are not unfortunately the same length or shape as the originals. Has anyone used quad legs on a Y6?

    Don't look at the replacement quad legs, look at the legs in the quad kit https://store.3drobotics.com/products/diy-quad-kit
