Today I encountered a completely new problem. I've had 3 fully operational quads working with Pixhawk. However, today one of them, will not throttle up past 25%.

It has me completely baffled.

Receiver signal is fine and the full range of movement is shown in mission planner.

ESC's have been calibrated

Motors are fine

Flight mode is "stabilize"

The copter reacts to pitch, roll and yaw inputs.

I've reflashed the firmware, gone through the entire calibration process, and found myself at the same place.

This log file shows a step up throttle test. The CH3 can be seen clearly stepping up to 80% throttle and then making its way back down. At the same time, ThrOut goes up to 25% and stays there until throttle comes back down.

Has anyone seen this before?

  • Would still like to see the logs from Stabilize though.

  • Log shows flight mode was Alt Hold and not Stabilize.  Don't know why it didn't takeoff.

    • Thanks for the reply. My mistake. It was originally in Stabilize and then I changed it to AltHold to see if anything changed, but everything stayed the same.
