Totally New - full of ideas

So,

I was thinking of making a multicopter with a HD camera, that was something like what you find on when you search against "http://vimeo.com/37132333" , but had the added features of gps tracking , autopilot , and some awesome controllable lights ( to amaze people at night) ..  Hope it would be silent as well..

So here I start my journey , thank you in advance for any advice on what sort of noob "kit" I could buy to get this project up and running , and thanks guys for the new hobby too :)

Keep it simple. Get something basic up in the air and get some experience, and then start to add complexity. A typical problem for a "newbie" is to want everything at once. And as a result often end up frustrated and burned out before they even get anything up in the air.

  • I THINK  i want to save as much $$ as possible ,but something like a driodworx cx4 ,and PVR setup something like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5qD3wrkbOc8, except , if possible the pvr would fit into a backpack , like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_fQyx-qFU0o&feature=related

and it would have a gopro on it too.

then as long as it did gps hover ,and "follow me", my dreeam would come true lol
