Hi there!

I've been trying to figure out how to run/control my turnigy 2836-3200kv Brushless motor and Turnigy AE 25A ESC using my arduino uno. I've read some forums (including of this site) and tutorials regarding the said matter, and I've tried the sample codes suggested, but none of them solved the issue; The motor still doesn't run.

I have no experience building an rc plane yet(I mean, I built one when I was in high school, but it didn't fly. brushed dc motors are too heavy... haha), so I'm just trying to run my motor and esc with an external power supply (rated 12v 1.0A) because I don't have a lipo battery. I'm just playing around how they work together and figuring out what frequency and duty cycle(pwm) is required to run a certain esc. I tried to arm and calibrate it but nothing happened.

One more problem is that, the motor doesn't even beep(though it's connected to the esc) when the power supply is plugged in.

How much current should a power supply provide in order to run the ESC? Does currrent matter?
Do I have to flash the esc in this case?

Any help would be highly appreciated.
