Hi all, this is my first post on DIY Drones but I have been following the site for a long time.
I am using a 3DR clone with a APM 2.5 clone (RC Timer's clones). Mavlink works fine over USB, but Mission Planner cannot detect Mavlink heartbeats when I connect over the 3DR (USB is disconnect when I am using the 3DR, powered by a UBEC).
No heartbeats are detected but a lot of data is being sent from the APM and being received by my Mac. Below is a dump of the serial connection to the 3DR:

Can anyone interpret what this data is and maybe why no heart beats are being sent.
I have tried everything I can think of. Different radios, different cables. I have tried the latest Arduplane release and the previous one. I have tried the latest Mission Planner and the latest one.
I am completely stuck and don't know what to try next!!!

If it helps anyone, here is a screenshot of my DSO with the output of UART0. It looks reasonable to me.
