I'm flying quadcopters.  All of mine so far are RTF and come with their own transmitters.  I am building a hexacopter and so am shopping for components.  I'm looking at the Turnigy 9XR transmitter, as it has pretty decent feedback for the price.  The ads all describe the 9XR with module, and without module but no real explanation about what the modules are.  I've seen separate ads for transmitter modules for the 9XR, so does that mean that the 9XR transmitter "without module" version does not have a transmitter in it?  Or is there a basic transmitter built in and the modules simply give more options?  As with most Chinese products in the hobby arena, the 9XR ads are rather lacking in information.  Many thanks!
