Hello guys. Im new at making a DIY UAV. I have a very basic question, what is the purpose of the remote control while it is an autopilot chip? Is it necessary to have a remote control on the unit? And how does the wings controlled by this APM/Autopilot Mode chip? Thanks in advance for the quick response my fellow DIY'ers. I really appreciate every answer the you will reply.

i think its not strictly necessary to have the remote control, but it also serves as an important safety consideration in case something bad happens and we need to take manual control over the uav.
Okay sir. Thanks for the info. I thought if you don't have a remote control, you can't control your UAV. Thats why im confused on the autopilot of the APS chip. Thanks again Sir Arif!
