I recently purchased a APM 2.5 / Ublox GPS combo. I have it all installed in a Flamewheel 450 and setup with default settings. I have flown it in a hover and so far it all seems to function correctly but I just can't get the GPS to lock on. I am new to multi copters so it is very possible I'm not doing something correctly. I did notice that the GPS cable supplied will only plug into the 'old' GPS port but that should not matter (I suppose). Even after about 10 minutes ,outside, no flashing blue light on the GPS. Is there something I need to do in mission planner? Does the GPS onboard battery need time to recharge?
When using mission planner I can get the 'artificial horizon' to move and all that but it says 'DISARMED' in big letters. Does that have something to do with the GPS problem?
