Hey, so I busted up the usb connector which has been torn from the apm 2.6 board. I have instead connected via the telemetry port using FTDI and can use mission planner without any issues.

On updating the firmware though it seems to hang so i Figured I can pull the PDE's from here: https://github.com/diydrones/ardupilot/tree/ArduCopter-3.2.1/ArduCopter

and upload via the arduino programmer instead (which is how I used to work with the aeroquad board I used to use).

Arduino programmer wont compile though, so I guess I have to work through the parameters manually one by one? Does anyone know of a preconfigured version with the basic params set for X-quad perhaps to save this step?

Any suggestions would be appreciated, once I have updated the firmware i'll be able to set the rest via mission planner which will simplify it a little.

  • Alternatively, does anyone know of the correct solder points to wire in a temporary cable?
