I am just learning my around this stuff as I try to build a basic and bullet proof Raspberry Pi based ground station to provide audible feedback / alerts (not action) for flight training on fixed wing -- so things like wings not level, more than 200 metres away from flight line etc.
I have read through the Advanced Configuration of the 3DR and had two questions around being able to change the Power Level from the Pi (something I would like to bale to do for different environments and plane configurations):
- Do any of the packages already available (MAVProxy, MAVLink, DroneKit) include commands for the 3DR parameters themselves, or shoudl I just write to them direct?
- Is it possible to change something on the Local and push it to the Remote - or do I need to connect them both locally through USB to make changes? Mission Planner seems to have a push to remote, but I am not 100% sure what it does yet.
