I am new to the forum, but haven't seen this topic discussed.
I work for a US company and am a US citizen who is wanting to fly a UAV for survey purposes at our sites in the US and Canada. I have read that I need to have my part 107 and will need to apply for a SFOC to fly in Canada. Has anyone experienced this? Am I looking at longer wait times for approval?

You will also need a visa to come to Canada to do work or the border agents will send you back home.
Hi
you will need to comply with Transport Canada requirements

if this is commercail you will need a SFOC which is also detailed in the above link
