Rather than wait weeks on end for a USBasp programmer from HK, (for firmware upgrade for Turnigy 9x V2 to er9x ) I bought this one from Ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...E:L:OU:GB:1123
Thinking they are all the same . It has a 6pin out , Not a 10 pin.
Does anyone know if I can use this please ?? I found the layout of the two different models (see pic)

You should be ok to use this. Unfortunately your ebay link got mangled, so I couldn't see the actual USBASP you bought.
The hardware hookup will be exactly the same. The only difficulty you may have is if the flashing software doesn't recognise the drivers for your USBASP. I used eepe and it worked great with my 10 pin USBASP.
Match the soldering locations on the following image to the pins on your device (ie: MISO to MISO, VCC to VCC etc). If you have a 9x V2 then you will solder SCK to where the circle is marked. Check your wiring with a multimeter before you try and flash the firmware.
