Kinda of a silly thought, but since I own a Phantom 3, and a Pixhawk-based hexacopter (that normally uses 3S batteries), I was thinking it would be nice to consolidate my battery purchases.

Of course the P3 battery is about $140, and I can buy equivalent-ish batteries for the hex for FAR less money...but still, simplification is a worthy goal, and of course I'll have more batteries to use on the P3 than I otherwise would, plus I wouldn't want/need to buy a new charger for the new LiHV batteries.

I know the Pixhawk itself can be powered by a 4S...my Fatshark VTX checks out (and it supplies 5V to the GoPro).

My ESC's and motors are good as well.

I would need some kind of adapter to grab the power from the P3 battery...a P3-to-XT60 adapter of some kind.

Am I crazy?  :)
