Would it be possible to use a normal forum software like vBulitin or PHPbb?

Or am I doing something wrong?  There's three pages of forums, no real organization of anything, and the system is so obtuse and butt-ugly that it hurts my eyes.

I would think that the first site to use decent forum software would probably steal all the users if the functionality of this forum can't be improved.

No offence to anyone BTW, but this setup just isn't up to snuff if you've ever used a proper forum.
