No one can answer this because you haven't given us enough details.
What sensor do you have? Maxbotix or another or have you got just a transducer? You connect as the manual shows it unless you have just a transducer.
The ultra-sonic is currently used for altitude control not avoidance. If you want that you will have to program it.
