Verify Height

I'm on a 400M hill with surrounding valley. When I set up waypoints I am not checking ABSOLUTE ALT and I am checking VERIFY HEIGHT.

When I click on the waypoints on the map, I get a warning about flying into a hill because it says the hill is 350M and the waypoint is 97M.

I don't want it to fly into a hill :-/ but it seems to be confused about the altitude. Can I just ignore the warning. I could use absolute alt but I prefer my launch altitude be zero to do auto landings.

ok firstly set your home alt correctly. it should be ground level above sea level. ie 400m

absolute alt works on planes only, and refers to ASL

    relative means above starting location.
