Does anyone have any footage of their uav using NAV_TAKEOFF or NAV_LAND? I'm curious to see what kind of attitude the plane takes on and how viable the commands are in real life. It would also just be very cool to watch.

I use Nav_Takeoff all the time and Nav_land frequently. No video, sorry.
The attitude using Nav_takeoff I expect will be quite dependant on the airframe and power system, as well as the takeoff pitch value. With my Skywalker the plane starts out at about 5 degrees positive climb and then increases as airspeed builds. I usually use a TO altitude of 30 to 40 meters.
Nav_land works great is you have an airspeed sensor and an airframe that is not too "floaty". You generally need to use a change speed command during the landing pattern to get slowed down and increase the sink rate. The Skywalker tended to be a little floaty for precise auto landing, but I added flaps and now it auto lands pretty much where I intend.
no video footage (yet)
Did perfect landings in XPlane, but that was more to do with running trials and test settings until it happened, as opposed to using mission planner in the way intended!
Entering values into mission planner I ran into some problems that I couldn't resolve, this was mainly due to the difficulty of being able to lose altitude in an orderly way, prior to setting up landing approach.
Oddly enough:
xplane ~ no scenery ~ sea level landing strip = it seemed to work as expected.
xplane ~ scenery ~ above sea level landing strip = it seemed to ignore some altitude commands, where waypoints were close together.
Now need to do more real life tests, perhaps when the weather improves.
