Is it possible that the magnetometer could become inaccurate due to voltage fluctuations? I am finding that I can loiter for around 8-10 minutes then the mag starts to drift. Yes my Auto_dec is "0" Compass learn is also "0"
I usually get to the field do a mag cal or log mag cal. My numbers are pretty low right around 10-100.
The picture below are my graphed mag. The spikes are where the helicopter gets out of control.

So I ran power from a separate battery and BEC to the APM. I am still getting these weird spikes. Where it spikes is where the helicopter goes crazy. Could I run a honeywell Mag?

Not voltage, but amps, yes, absolutely. That's why the mag should be as far from the motor as possible.
