VTail Quadcopter support

I'm going to try to do some more testing today. But I think this is it. :-)

I'm using a Lynxmotion Hunter VTail 400 frame.

  • So where are we with this project? I have come to the conclusion that the next frame I make will be a V-Tail and I would like to use my new PixHawk with it.

    • My Vtail code was pulled in to ArduPilot, and is currently available in master, and ArduPilot 3.2 Beta.

      • So how do you get to it? I don't see a graphic or any instructions on how to get the FC to setup in a v tail config.

        • yup, no problem. in the full paramter list, set the FRAME to 4

            Other than tuning the pid's is there anything that I need to do? Also, what is the prop setup/ rotation pattern?
