Hi all.
Please be kind. I'm new to all this. :)
I purchased a hex off craigslist. It's got DJI Naza-M V2 flight controller. With it, came a DJI Phantom 2 radio.
I'm wanting something a little nicer. I'm wondering how well the X9D plays with the Naza as well as how well does this radio work with open source hardware? Say the Pixhawk? Or even the PixRacer?
This radio may seem like overkill for someone new like me, but I figure over time I will be adding more features to my drone and would like to be able to control things.
As I understand it, with the Fubata, you can get external transmitter/receivers that extend the range of your radio. Is the same true with the X9D?

Taranis radio can also use external modules (besides the existing internal one). You can customize this radio at will both on hardware and software aspects. But then it requires some reading investment on your part on the numerous forums and in user manual.
