Morning,
I was testing altitude hold for the first time today. First altitude hold was reasonably successfully, but I was in tight quaters so I flicked it back to Stabilze. That first altitude hold was around 1m off the ground. Second Alt hold attempted was prob around 1.5m off the ground, the quad copter slow its motors down and lost altitude in a hurry, in panic i flicked it back to Stabilize to recover, but the quad then leaned over to the left and full throttled itself into a tree.
I have attached the logs, it looks to me like my throttle was too hasty on recovery, although being a heli rc pilot for many year, I felt like I had dropped my throttle in time.
Any feedback would be appriciated. Next time I play with throttle hold, I will certainly be at the field, more space...
Regards,
Solo.
