Can somebody explain what 'polarized' is when referring to antenna's? What is circular polarized? 

And what is 1/4 wave or 1/2 wave?

ps I did do a search for polarized and only got one post. Either I didn't do something right [ highly likely :] ] or the search engine isn't %100 on target because surely there is many mentions of this topic in the antenna threads. Maybe it needs a circular polarized search method/ hehe
