what is the best sensor for my project "Gyroscope or accelometer" ?

hi guys,

what is the best sensor to detect moving angles, such as car moving in slope or plane going to rotate?

i want it for balancing

im confuse between gyroscope application and accelometer ?

or maybe use both of them?

You will need gyroscope to detect rotation and accelerometer to detect acceleration; with the two sensors working together you will be able to track your vehicle movement.

APM2 has the following sensors built in it:
- Digital compass
- 3 Axis Accelerometer (X,Y,Z)
- 3 Axis Gyroscope (X,Y,Z)
- GPS (Global Positioning Sensor)
- Barometer (Pressure Sensor)
And you can add optional sensors:
- Airspeed
- OpticalFlow
- Ultrasonic Sonar
