Apart from the fact that you can't get pixhawk outside the US & Canada?I've just watched a video from Marco with the VR Brain on a DJI S1000, looks pretty nice.Thanks in advance

VR Brains supports standard multiple pwm outputs as standard, pixhawk requires a decoder. May not be an issue for you, it is for me not using radio gear compatible with the newer single cable protocols.
I am in the process of building a biggish quad that I bought a VR micro brain for. The micro brain is tiny! Missing some features of the bigger brothers from both manufacturers, but plenty for my needs at the moment.
