What is the preferred OSD?

I'm putting together my first RC plane (skywalker). I've so far got it set up with:

ArduPilot Mega - Arduino Compatible UAV Controller w/ ATMega1280

ArduPilotMega IMU Shield/OilPan Rev-H (With Pins)

MediaTek MT3329 GPS 10Hz + Adapter Basic

FPV I've got at 5.8GHz and Fat Shark goggles and gopro HD.

I'm thinking to also add xBee's at 900MHz since my radio is 2.4GHz. I would like to use the ground station app which would require just the xbee's?

What I'm stuck on is OSD. I've seen the Remzibi's OSD here but it's never in stock.

I have an ipad and I've seen the iTelemetryFPV app which requires their EzOSD. Does this integrate well with the APM or would it need to be hacked?

Or is there a better choice for OSD?
