Regardless of the drone model you have...
What is the most enervating/unnerving/maddening thing with your drone?
In other words : What would need to change...
I do not want to influence the answers, this is why I do not give more details.
Cheers,

Adding new features to the software without getting all the current features to work properly, unfortunately an inherent undesirable open source characteristic.
What day is it?
Some days are a pure joy to fly, and some days the craft lawn-darts into the ground. (OK, it only did this once - pilot error). Every flight is a learning experience.
Bottom line is that the APM is, for the price, the best thing to happen to the hobby. But make no mistake, it is a hobby. Without the APM the drone would be almost impossible to fly.
What would I like to see improved? I would like to have more knowledge in understanding the log files. I would also like to know more about PID tuning. There's tons of posts and Wiki instructions on tuning parameters, but much of it is contradictory to other posts. What works for some may not be right for others.
Hi,
- Multicopters leaping unprovoked from the shop bench, roaring around raping laptop displays and getting me displeased looks from other model pilots :(
- A program that sometimes drops the (stateless, really) connection and just won't reestablish it during a mission with a less than perfect link (meanwhile solved - CTRL-T is your friend).
- Forgetting to start the video recording
- That trees never just let go of drones
Regards
Soren
