Good morning everyone,
I was looking through tutorials online and they all had HIL firmwares which were downloadable directly through APM Planner. However I can't seem to find the same buttons in APM Planner 2.0. Have they been removed? If so, where would I find them?
Thanks for the help,
Caelan

You can download HIL firmwares from http://firmware.diydrones.com e.g http://firmware.diydrones.com/Copter/stable/ they are marked as *-hil*
Currently we don't support HIL in APM Planner. we do support SITL, which you can read up about setting up here http://dev.ardupilot.com
(and some older instructions here http://copter.ardupilot.com/wiki/common-sitl-software-in-the-loop-s...)
Thanks for the reply Bill,
I have gone through the available firmware for ArduCopter HIL but I wasn't able to find a firmware which was less then 2.9 which worked on the PX4.
Would it be possible to get a link to latest firmware for ArduCopter HIL for the PX4 right before V2.9?
Cheers,
Caelan
P.S. Would it be possible to disable inertial nav on the newer firmwares (V2.9 and above) for them to be compliant with HIL? Or is that easier said then done.
Hi Caelan Widwood,
Did you find firmware or source code for PX4 which is less than V2.9? I also want to have this version to do HIL with PX4.
Cheers,
