I'm using 2.22 and latest MP.
I'm new to x-plane and mission planner and can't figure out how to have x-plane start at an specific location. It only seems to offer choices of airports or certain locations. Is there a way to enter a longitude latitude coordinate?
Also it seems the stable mode isn't tuned to the standard craft that is used in the demo x-plane. It oscillates a lot. Not a problem but just wondering if there are any model aircraft that would be similar to the skywalker I'm using.

APM always sets "home" to the GPS location at startup. When Xplane is used, it generates its own (fake) GPS at startup, so home is set to that. If you want to change home after startup, you need to move it in the GCS after everything is up and running.
Please note that Xplane will not automatically shift to that location.
If you want to take off somewhere else, you need to tell Xplane where.
This has nothing to do with APM, BTW. It's just the way all flight simulators work.
