Hi all.I've been looking into the ESP wifi side in mission planner so decided to buy an AI Thinker Wifi module. ESP8266MOD board. It has an mcx connector and a number of connection points. But am I being a bit naive does it need another board or do I just connect rx,tx,vcc,Gnd etc. And hey presto? Or does it need flashing power regulation et .Sorry this side is all new but keeps the mind goingAll the bestAndrew
It doesn't need another board. Do remember that RX of ESP goes to TX of your connecting module and vice-versa. I created my own project with a standalone MCU and ESP-12, and it has been working well so far. I haven't tested the full range yet, but it is also an AI Thinker.
