  • The Civil Aviation Authority twitch at commercial UAV operations in the UK. The rules around the sub-7kg band are reasonably liberal - 400 ft etc - and an assumption of two crew operation - pilot and lookout. So incidents like this may cause the CAA people to look at what is actually going on... and rules can change. As usual here, hobbyists can do a whole lot more than commercial operations.... but I'd hate to see a few incidents close the commercial rules down even more. Its easy to see the photographic opportunity operating a camera ship UAV in a city..... but the implications of things going wrong are far potentially far ranging and could effect anyone in the Uk developing or operating in this area.
  • What an idiot! I don't see anything but a big poking coming our way
  • I cant help but feel sorry for the Draganfly, its daft, irresponsible, non-RTFM reading owner doesn't really deserve such technology.
