Good afternoon,

My name is Toby Younis. I'm a documentary film maker. Here is a sample of my recent work:

I have been commissioned to produce a documentary on the 19 ancient native American ruins in New Mexico. Part of the project requires me to produce an aerial survey of each of the sites. The budget is too small to allow for the hiring of full sized aircraft and pilots, so I've been looking for an alternative solution.

After an hour's worth of research on the Internet, I found my way here.

Unfortunately, I don't have the luxury of spending several months learning everything I need to learn in order to assemble and learn to fly the platform I described above.

I'm competent at reading and following instructions, and my son is an electronics engineer and avid RC flyer, so between the two of us, we can figure some of the things out.

Where I need some help is at the "architectural" level. What components would I need to hover a platform with a camera at a certain lat/lon, then move it to hover at another lat/lon and keep repeating the process until it's necessary to change batteries?

I would be willing to pay someone with the right experience a consulting fee if they could give us some time via Skype, or on the phone or via email until we had assembled the platform I described above.

I apologize if this sounds offensive to anyone, but, as my Dad used to tell me, when you need some help, go find and ask the experts. And, based on everything I've read on this site, you guys are the experts.

Thank you.

Regards,

t.
