wireless telemetry status on andoid?

yesterday i started thinking a bit, and decided to try to show my notebook screen on a 3" andoid cell phone. the objective is quite simple, attach que cell on the radio and always have a little telemetry information while flying.

i got small sucess on teamviewer, but it works over the internet, with lots of lag. i was hoping someone here could design a simple software to talk over bluetooth/local wireless so it would be possible to see something on the cell screen. maybe one screen with the map, another with the hud, and other with gauges.if it could send the audio, would be even better.

also, i was wondering if it would be possible to get the "follow me" nmea sentences from something like google latitude (to follow the phone). or maybe place the phone with acellerometer/magnetometer/gps on the antenna tracking base, and be able to move the antenna (place the antenna tracker on the rooftop of a car), and move while the tracker still works.

i'm not a programmer, so i don't have any idea how to do this stuff....but just thinking, these would be cool features.
