Wizard Assistance

Hi,

Ive upgraded to 3.1.5 (i don't think this is an issue) but have the following problems while attempting to run the wizard to reset everything. Have a quad running axe motors, pixhawk & Taranis radio.

I have 3 main issues (possibly effecting each other)

1. Is mission planner keeps saying Prearm CheckFS_th_value

2. Mission planner won't complete wizard, just sits on step 15 of 16 & when i click finish, just sits there (suspect this relates to issue 1.

3. When I calibrate radio in some channels the red line is lower than the lowest point of the radio. example is throttle lowest point (red line) currently shows 874 where as lowest point radio will go to is 982.

When i try to fix issue 1, i note that there is a number to left & slider to right. Do both these need to be adjusted or just one?

Thanks in advance for any assistance

  • I have some great news after shutting my computer down (nothing else would let me exit the Mission Planner Wizard)

I logged back in to Mission Planner & connected machine. Going into basic & advanced tuning was a much better option. I did a radio calibration which worked perfectly. (all red lines at correct limits). I then went to FS throttle value which happened to be yellow (this is cool) I then pushed the slider to the left which made the number go up & it went green when I got to an acceptable level. Very nice.

Took her outside for a quick fly & worked perfect. Im super pleased & my enthusiasm is back :)

    • Relating to Issue #3 only... I adjusted the CH1-CH4 limits on my Tx to match the PWM range of my ESCs.  The PWM range of your ESCs should be published somewhere.  I used the Radio Calibration check screen to validate the proper limits were set.  So, the Tx only sends a PWM range that matches the ESCs.  My Min and Max on those channels in Mission Planner are within the bounds of what the ESCs will accept.  (My ESCs do not support calibration.)  RC1 through RC4's MIN and MAX values in Mission Planner correlate to the Radio Calibrations for CH1-CH4 (I believe).
