Wow hard crash

Ok,I strapped my go pro 2 to my quad and set it straight down at 5 seconds intervals. My flight lasted about 30 seconds before it came crashing down. During the flight it kept on "twitching" until it flipped over and hit the ground. Lucky for me I noticed this problem and brought it down to about 11 feet before it crashed.Questions.1) why did it seem to hate having the go pro underneath it? I admit I did not spend any real time "Valentina the Geo pro but "eye balled" center.2) why were the pictures it did take so fuzzy?Jason

    Jason,

a video or something of the problem would be a great help.

for (1) - motor twitching could be caused by a number of things but the usual culprit is:

            a) roll and/or pitch rate D term is too high

            b) min_throttle parameter is too low (130 is the default) - this controls the lowest throttle that the engines will go to while flying.  if it's set too low the motors can actually shut off for a moment and you will see a twitch.

         (2) not sure why the pictures are fuzzy but i'd guess it's vibration from your frame.  Attach the go-pro with some kind of vibration absorbing material (like foam, rubber or strong elastic bands).
