I recently purchased an APM 2.5. It looks like the x axis accelerometer is defective. While the other two axis work fine this one is stuck at 7900. Regardless of what firmware I load or what mission planner I use I can't get it to move. Level calibration consistently fails. Using the same procedures I have no issues with an APM 2.0 I also have. It works fine and calibrates without issues.
Is this a defective unit or am I missing something?
I've sent a similar message to the 3drobotics store requesting a replacement if this is not user error.
Thanks,
Charles

Trey reseting the board back to factory settings by going into Terminal (CLI) in mission planner and typing 'setup' 'reset' then 'setup' 'erase'
you can then also try in Terminal typing 'test' then 'ins' and report back what you see.
If it still doesn't work, 3DR will be able to help.
