I'm starting a build for a DSLR rig, but debating over an X8 configuration or a hexacopter layout. My use will be video, more so than photography. Which configuration will give me better stability, given a well-balanced system? The X8 (8 motors on four arms) layout seems to be gaining a following in the community, but I'm wondering if there's benefit for videography in using an X8 setup versus hexacopter. Anyone with experience?
