XtremeBee just up and quit

Hi,

My Xtremebee just stopped working.  I think that's the part that is not working.  I setup a mission and uploaded it to the APM on my Quad, went outside, flew it, came back and it was no longer communicating.

Three of the LEDs on the board are flashing, the RSSI (very dim and flashing) and the two "D" LEDs, but the "ON" LED is not illuminated.

I just got this less than a month ago and have flown it about 6 times.  I've checked all the solder connections, looked at both boards with a magnifying glass, I can't see anything physically wrong with it.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

-Dave

  • My adapter board just died too.  Happened at the same time that I updated my APM firmware, so it took forever to figure out.
  • I've had my xbee quit on me. Check and make sure it's really dead by reloading the firmware with xctu
  • I just swapped the XBEEs and found that it's not the XtremeBee, it's the XBEE modem with the wire on it.  All four lights flash with on the XtremeBee with the modules swapped.
