Thanks to a spektrum glitch, I am looking at replacing a TBS Disco with a Y6. Glitch's handiwork:
Most significant damage is the bottom plate - the impact was hard enough that it put a 4' bend in the battery, and completely warped the RF shield over the core. So I plan on a frame replacement.
The Disco was always my fun quad, and spent most of its time in Drift at full sticks. This is a future I see for my Y6. However, to cannibalise the few remaining operational parts from the Disco and to keep cost down, I'd like to re-use the operational motors, props and ESC's.
However the Y6 recommended motors are 850kv with 11.47 and 10.47 props. Can I re-use my 2216-11's and 9.50" props in Y6? Anyone running in this config? I know the bottoms are supposed to be bigger, and I have some 10.45" spares lying around - can I use those? I'd also hope to re-use my 4500 4S's.

Ok, so I pulled the trigger a day too early...3Dr Y6's are in today! Damn...
Yesterday I pulled the trigger on one of these: http://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0086/7002/products/IMG_5318_1024x1...
I still plan to use 6 x 2216-11's, but may re-use my 11,000mah 3S packs. Which means 9" top and 10" bottom...but any suggestions on pitch for each?
