I have some yaw issues that i have difficulty sourcing. Im flying the same PID's from 2.9.1, but it still wanders and bounces, as you can see in the vid (along with seperate gimbal-related issues). It makes good video harder to achieve.Ive done compassmot (4%), but on throttle - im on 6S so cant do current-based via 3dr module.I suspect current-based will improve yaw accuracy, but how do i wire in a 6s current sensor?Or can i just tune yaw with PIDs?

Hi Euan, I am running a large octo on 5 cells and use this sensor... takes a little bit of fiddling to get the current draw calibrated but usually get it close with in a couple of flights...

Only a guess but at 4% you won't gain much by using current.
It sounds to me more likely to be a motor off from horizontal a little bit. It takes surprisingly little offset to effect things.
Try turning MOTOR logging on and see if all motors are running equal in a stable hover.
Hope this is helpful!
