I was wondering if i setup my radio correctly. On the left I have the throttle and yaw. On the right stick i have pitch and roll. Just asking cause its a bit difficult to adjust the throttle without making the quad yaw..but then again im a newbie so that might be about practice.

Personally, I find it a bit more difficult to yaw without accidentally adjusting throttle, which is very sensitive. Either would be helped by a radio that allows setting a deadspot in the middle of yaw channel or using a non-linear throttle curve... but not all radios have that.
That's correct. Are you using a magnetometer and if so have you enabled it and set the declination in the setup process?
