    Hello All, I am new to the group and looking for someone that can work with to us build an affordable fixed-wing drone for precision farming. Drone needs to have flight planning software as well as decent RGB and multispectral payloads. Most of the off-the-shelf platforms to expensive for our application. Please let me know if you can help.

      George, I have used one of the early Event38 E384 fixed wing drones for aerial surveying and 3D mapping of golf courses. It was very effective.

      However it was developed for agricultural monitoring and does support multi-spectral acquisition, so I suspect you would find these useful for your application. You could learn a lot from using one of these.

    Hi, I am from New Zealand and trying to understand the application of drones in agriculture. We have a lot of sheep on large extensive farms, but trying to understand how ranchers from the USA might use drone technology is very difficult from the bottom of the pacific.     Hello, Im Delmond Marshall, I'm new to the drone culture. I'm Head Coach of the Flint Unity Farming Project in Flint, Michigan where we teach kids how to grow vegetables they can eat that will help offset their exposure to toxins caused by the Flint Water Crisis, which is still ongoing. My question is whats the most inexpensive drone with cameras can I get or have made that they could use? I have 102 kids, No way I can buy all of them drones. If I could get 5 of them for our group, I'd be happy.I'm hoping to create a drone club for them. Any ideas or suggestions please share and let me know. Ground Station for Spraying Drone

We need a GSC for a small spraying drone base on Pixhawk. It should be capable of pausing the mission whenever the tank is empty, return to launch, and after refueling or changing the battery, return to the last waypoint that the mission was paused and continue the mission. The GCS should run on android and be swarm cable (at least in the future). Could this be done in Qgroundcontroll or should I consider doing it using DroneKit or FlytOS on a companion computer?
