Hi All,
Check out my review of Rusty's new vacuum tubing adapter for vacuum testing of WTCs.

Tom C AVD
Hi All,
For those of you who want to vacuum test your WTCs for potential leaks, Rusty has come up with a vacuum tubing adapter that takes the place of the plug in the WTC Enclosure Vent. It is not in the BR Store yet, but I am sure that it will be shortly.
Originally I had to make a vacuum tubing adapter out of a 1/4 X 1/4 brass tubing coupler and a 6 mm cable penetrator and the vacuum tubing adapter took up one of the holes in the WTC End Cap. Now all you have to do to vacuum test your WTC is remove the plug from the WTC Enclosure Vent and replace it with the vacuum tubing adapter. When you are done testing, just remove the vacuum tubing adapter and replace it with the plug. No fuss, no muss. Sweet!

Hi David,
Unless a member has a well equipped workshop and plenty of time on his hands, the BR kit is the way to go.
Being retired, I have plenty of time to indulge on my ROV Project:-)

Tom,
This is a good idea. If I decide to get into ROV's I would probably buy the BR kit. It seems to be priced right when you look at every thing you get and could be modified for additional gear later. Your build is impressive but a lot more work than I have time for at the moment.

Hi David,
My ROV Project discussion thread was getting quite long and I feel that starting this Group will give BR hardware/software users a specific place to discuss hardware and software issues.

Hi Rusty,
Nice to have you onboard, much appreciated.
