Having uploaded some trial data sets to a new KickStarter project called MapsMadeEasy, then viewing the results online, the future for image processing is clear to me! Which is a shame as I've only just spent $2,000 on a super fast desktop PC to run PhotoScan.
If you've not seen what's possible, check out the MapsMadeEasy kickStarter project, but hurry as there is just five days left to back it and be amongst their first users to make history!
The MapsMadeEasy system produces GeoTIFF, Geo TIFF DEM, Google Earth KMZ and 3D Object files. After processing, you can instantly load the files onto a web server and zoom into each layer.
