I'm just recently getting back into remote control aircraft. I have been mainly using remote control rock crawlers and baja buggies but found my old helicopters in my shed and decided to get back into the air.

Please tell us a bit about your UAV interest

The idea of installing an autopilot in an r/c aircraft is something I always liked but was previously not affordable. I came across a r/c reaper drone kit while I was looking for parts to fix up my helicopters and decided I'd take another look at building a UAV. I found DIY Drones mentioned on a youtube video and saw that the prices are more than reasonable now, so I've purchased the gear I need to get a UAV quadcopter up and running. If all goes well I hope to learn to fly fixed wing r/c and convert one into a UAV.
